Our daughter Molly is raising money to provide job training to children with intellectual disabilities in Uganda. For many rural families, children tend to the families goats & chickens. Molly has a heart for children with disabilities in part because she has two younger sisters with intellectual disabilities and wants to see all children thrive.
Our partner, Ekisa Ministries in Uganda, supports children with disabilities so they can thrive in families and communities. For younger children, this includes speech, occupational, and physical therapy, parent education and counseling. For their teens, this includes job training like raising goats and chickens so they can support their families.
Molly drew a picture of a goat to create a tote bag to sell and raise money for Ekisa. New Ground Charities is covering the cost of the totes and shipping so 100% of the funds raised will go directly to Ekisa. Ekisa has plans to purchase goats for each of the teens in the program as well as seeds and supplies for a garden onsite.
In total they need:
Seeds for the garden 🌱🥬
Fencing for the garden
Coop for the chicken
A mentor farmer
Feed for the goats, chickens, and rabbits.
Patrick visited Ekisa in late 2019 and was impressed by their focus, compassion, and spirit in supporting children with disabilities. Please help Molly raise money to support this great ministry by buying a tote!
100% of each tote goes directly to funding Ekisa’s garden and animal program.
